New Interpretations of a Classic Film

A collection of illustrations inspired by the 1979 epic film  Apocalypse Now  is on display all summer at Rome's Casa del Cinema, located under the sprawling pines of Villa Borghese.  Directed by Francis Ford Coppola with cinematography by Vittorio Storaro, the two living legends created a visually stunning epic film. The illustrations, created by art students from the Corso di Decorazione dell’Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, breathe new life into the collaboration between the two maestros of cinema. The exhibit will run through September 9.  Click here  for more information. - Jeannine Guilyard
