Roberta, who needs attention otherwise she will disappear, meets Massimo who on the contrary, is agitated and disappears if he feels he’s the source of attention. Protagonists Francesca Golia of The Great Beauty, Dormant Beauty; and Pierpaolo Spollon of Terraferma Leoni, of this unique second work by the director from Verona, Pietro Reggiani, "La dolce arte di esistere" will be in cinemas from 9 April.
Creator of the dreamlike "L'estate di mio fratello", awarded at the 2005 Tribeca Film Festival, Reggiani has this time created a world in which psychosomatic invisibility exists, in which people with relationship difficulties, in some situations, become literally invisible. He does so to consider, using parody, the neuroses of young people who are always faced with new difficulties.
The other actors are Sara Putignano, Anna Ferraioli Ravel, Salvatore Esposito, Rolando Ravello in a cameo, Anita Kravos, Francesca Faiella, Veronica Cruciani, Pietro Bontempo and Sara Putignano.
Filmed between Rome, Verona and Trento, La dolce arte di esistere is produced and distributed by Movimento Film thanks to a crowd-funding operation, in association with Emmedue Video productions and with support from the Trentino Film Commission and the Lazio Region Film Fund.
