Maccheroni all’italiana

Il grande Alberto Sordi, nel film “Un americano a Roma”, sognava gli USA ma cedeva alla tentazione degli spaghetti al pomodoro e del buon Lambrusco. Il piatto di “maccaroni”, rimpiazzava una triste cena composta da yogurt, latte e mostarda, ed era davvero invitante! Ecco la ricetta di un classico del cinema e della cucina italiana, da Gruppo Cariparma..

Ingredienti per 4 persone

– Olio extravergine d’oliva

– 2 cipolle

– 400 gr di spaghetti

– 700 gr di pomodori datterini

– 5/6 foglie di basilico

Procedimento

Far soffriggere la cipolla, tagliata fine, in una padella con un fondo d’olio insieme ai filetti di pomodoro (che vanno spellati, privati dei semi e tagliati a liste sottili). Salare il tutto e scottare la polpa a fuoco vivo. Abbassare la fiamma e lasciar cuocere per 10 minuti, un quarto d’ora al massimo. Cuocere la pasta in acqua salata. Il basilico può essere aggiunto nell’ultima fase di cottura del sugo o meglio crudo sulla pasta condita. Se piace, aggiungere in ultimo una spolverata di parmigiano grattugiato.

When a team of speleologists descended 700 meters into the Bifurto Abyss in Cosenza, Calabria, in 1961, they discovered that the underground caverns were the third deepest in the world and the deepest in Europe. The Toronto International Film Festival is wrapping up its retrospective of the cinematic collaboration of husband and wife team, Nicoletta Braschi and Roberto Benigni. Over the last few days, the couple have participated in discussions, Q & A sessions and have introduced several of their films. Today, I attended a screening of "La voce della luna" (The voice of the moon). It was  Federico Fellini's last film and is a wonderful tribute to the director's signature poetic madness.
